An Essential Partnership!!
With respect to the current situation of our country’s common favorite food chain, Domino's Pizza has partnered with ITC Ltd to deliver essential items, such as wheat flour (atta) and spices, to customers amid a national 21-day block imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19. Customers who wish to take advantage of the service need to use the "Domino's Essentials" section in the Domino app to order the ITC Aashirvaad brand of atta and spices and other relevant goods. These will be provided by Domino, leveraging its pizza delivery network to ease yourself from the problem of food in this time of crisis.

The service will initially be launched in Bengaluru, followed by Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad, the companies said in a joint statement on Thursday.

Domino's joins an increasing number of companies that use an available fleet of delivery executives to double as carriers for essentials, such as basic products and personal care products. This occurs at a time of disruption in the logistics network, making it difficult for families to purchase daily products. Demand for home delivery has also increased with the government advising people to stay indoors.

According to sources, Domino's delivery infrastructure will be leveraged to help customers order the essential everyday items offered by ITC Foods.

This valuable partnership with Domino's during this pandemic will allow us to meet the growing demand for food products like Aashirvaad Atta and spices. I am sure that consumers in Bengaluru and more and more in other cities will benefit to a great extent from this partnership by receiving food items essential to them during that time when they are confined to homes. ITC Ltd. redoubled efforts to expand the availability of food products across multiple commercial channels.

ITC will use Domino's supply chain and delivery network to deliver essential goods like Aashirvaad Atta, spices, etc. to people's doorsteps. Customers can place orders using Domino's app and their orders will be delivered safely and hygienically using Zero Contact Delivery, The promoters of HT Media Ltd, which publishes Mint, and Jubilant FoodWorks, which runs Domino, are closely related. However, there is no cross-participation by promoters.

The partnership was announced on Thursday and the launch of Domino's Essentials to deliver essential items at home, given the blockade imposed due to the spread of the coronavirus. Domino's delivery infrastructure would be leveraged to help customers order essential items from the supermarket every day according to the report.

A combined package of Aashirvaad Atta and spices, including pepper, coriander and turmeric powder, will be available in the Domino app starting today (Thursday).

The main reasons and benefit of this service are:-

·         The service would be available to consumers first in Bengaluru and then in the cities of Noida, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai and Hyderabad.

·         To take advantage of this service, customers need to use the latest version of the Domino application and click on the Domino Essentials section.

·         Customers will be able to select the combined package and use the digital payment method to complete the order.

·         The Domino secure delivery specialist would follow contactless delivery practices.

This service method would ensure that customers receive their orders without any direct contact by the Safe Delivery Expert.

So I guess I have shared a really important and useful topic with you all about the Partnership of two of the most trusted brands of our country to help its dear customers in the time of crisis all over the country. I will also request you to follow and support this idea and order from it so this innovative and trusted idea has a long life for our benefits.
